She has led complex investigations for regulatory colleges across health and non-health sectors in Ontario, as well as independent government agencies, ensuring fairness, thorough analysis, and adherence to legislative frameworks. Her expertise includes interviewing key stakeholders, conducting risk assessments, and providing strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
Beyond her investigative work, Bernadette has served in adjudicative roles, reviewing appeals, presiding over hearings, and contributing to policy development. As a board chair, she has successfully led governance initiatives, fundraising efforts, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
Fluent in English and French, Bernadette holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in International Studies from York University’s Glendon College and has completed specialised training in health law, private investigations, and regulatory practices.
