
Sarah is an Assistant Director at the Competition and Markets Authority where she has investigated cases in consumer protection and regulatory appeals against decisions made by Ofwat and Ofgem. She is currently working on the CMA’s market investigation into veterinary services for household pets in the UK.
Prior to joining the CMA, Sarah was the Head of Casework at the Fundraising Regulator, where she designed and implemented the Fundraising Regulator’s casework process and was responsible for all aspects of complaints and investigations.
She previously spent 11 years at the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman, primarily in the Ombudsman’s Private Office, where she dealt with some of the most high profile and sensitive investigations.
Between 2021-2024 Sarah was a lay member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons’ Veterinary Nursing Council and Education Committee.
