Inquiry into the effectiveness of ombudsman schemes and the potential for reform - APPG on Consumer Protection

The Ombudsman Association welcomes the interest of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Consumer Protection in strengthening the role of ombudsman schemes in the consumer sector. 

It is in the interests of consumers that they have access to an ombudsman in all areas of consumer services and access to consumer redress should be simplified for consumers with a single, mandatory, ombudsman covering each sector.
