The Ombudsman Association welcomes the opportunity to strengthen the current system of consumer redress.
Adopting a ‘pay-as-you-go’ model and charging a nominal fee to access redress is incompatible with best practice, as represented by the Ombudsman model, and would prevent existing ombudsman schemes from expanding their coverage.
