Season 2 Episode 3 Podcast – That OA Thing
As many of you might already be aware, as well as setting best practice criteria for ombudsman schemes, we also have another category of membership for organisations like the UK Information Commissioners Office (ICO) that are not ombudsman but are involved in complaint handling.
For our October edition of That OA Thing, we were delighted to welcome our fourth guest of the season, Catherine Evans O’Brien, the Head of Communities at the UK ICO, to talk about outreach and community engagement projects.
In this episode, Catherine discusses the real-life impacts that data breaches can have on people, particularly drawing attention to those living with HIV and domestic abuse survivors. Additionally, with recently being elected as Deputy Chair for the OA’s new Outreach Network, Catherine speaks about the benefits of that Network and being part of the wider OA Community.
